Custom Offset Printing
Offset lithography is the most widely used print process. 40 of all print jobs are produced with offset printing. It's an indirect printing process which means that an image is transferred, or offset, from one surface to another. A printing plate mounted on a cylinder transfers the image to a rubber blanket mounted on another cylinder. The image is then transferred from the blanket cylinder to the substrate as it passes between the blanket cylinder and an impression cylinder. BSI has several cost effective standard inks available with options to print all Pantone colors.
Thermography
Thermography is the process for producing raised lettering, as on stationery or calling cards, by application of a powder fused by heat to the fresh ink. Thermography is also known as "imitation engraving". An engraving die is not required, and the process is faster and far less expensive than true engraving. This can be applied to a wide selection of BSI standard ink colors or any color in the complete Pantone palette.
